AI will not replace doctors, but doctors who know AI will replace those who don’t: Dr D Nageshwar Reddy

Highlighting AI’s role in improving colonoscopy detection, emergency care, and personalized medicine, Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman of AIG Hospitals, emphasised the need for AI regulation to address cybersecurity risks. He noted that using AI in hospitals can help prevent ‘Code Blue’ situations and potentially save three lives a day. "Code Blue" refers to a universal emergency code signaling a medical crisis requiring immediate attention.
